a tad disappointed

So yes, BA Envoys results are out. & I didn't manage to get in. Well, was kinda expecting it but still, I'm feeling really upset about it. Okay, I've got to look on the brighter side. At least I've been invited to TCP. :) Shall start aiming for executive-comm for skates.

highway on full speed

Hi my dearest readers. I'm finally back! Time really flies! I've been in NP for about a month.. Anyway, it's not that I have alot of spare time to blog right now, but I just feel that it's time I pen down all my thoughts.. Been bottling up everything that has happened for the past few weeks.. 

Firstly, poly life has been really really fast-paced for me. As the tittle suggests, it's like I'm on a highway on full speed.. No more secondary school teachers spoon-feeding us with answers.. No more naggy teachers to tell me what to do, wake me up if I fall asleep (So far, I've never slept in any lecure/tutorial), and no more joking around with the teachers.. I feel like I've changed so much the moment I entered poly. Used to be so noisy and talkative in 4A, but now, I'm just this reserve and quiet girl sitting there. & every single week is just lectures, tutorials, spanish class and skates. It's really tiring.. 

Ok next, Idea Jumpstart (IJ) classes. Goshh. There's this guy in my group who is so annoying!! It's like when the other group mates suggest an idea, he tells him to shut up. Then when the tutor comes over to ask about our progress and all that, he uses their idea and present it as his own. dafuq. & he keeps trying to be the leader and boss everybody around. ._. He makes my IJ lessons so miserable... I really hope the next 9 weeks will be better. *must try my best to tolerate him*

On a side note, I went for BA Envoys interview yesterday. Kinda disappointed with my 'performance'. Got all tongue tied and couldn't even phrase what I wanted to say properly.. They asked me to promote the clock (Yes, those clocks you see hanging on the wall .__.) and tell them a story. I think the story that I told them was really stupid. I mean, how do I come up with a story within .. a min?!! le sighhhh. Not gonna pin my hopes high up but I still hope I'll get in.. 

Alright, that kinda sums up what I've been doing for the past 4 weeks.. Off to do INFA tutorials.. T_T It's killing me.

Lectures, Tutorials, CCAs

Life has been really hectic ever since school has started. I don't even have much spare time to blog about the recent stayover with hwaimun, BAOC, Elves Outing @ Sentosa and so much more things. Though it's only the 2nd week of school, we're already required to do tutorials so that the tutor can go through them in class. I would say I'm still coping well (for now). Obviously, it's only week 2! And did I mention that I signed up for so many CCAs!! Ngee Ann sure offers a hell lot of CCAs. So, I signed up for Student Entrepreneurship Club, Rotaract Club, Inline Skating, BA Envoys and Appreciation. 4 of them are events based so I'm cool with it. And, I got short listed for NP scholarship. I really hope I'll ace the 2 rounds of interview. Wish me luck guys! This is just a short update of my poly life. I shall continue on another post when I have the time.
